● Features and Scope:
Empty hot work die steel hardened, the introduction of the United States Department of H11 steel. Its performance and service life than 3Cr2W8V steel. Apply for aluminum die casting, hot extrusion and perforation with tools and mandrel, forging hammer forging die, forging die presses, high-speed forging dies and plastic molding, etc.; was also used as aircraft, rockets and other resistance heat 400 ~ 500 ℃ working temperature structural components.

Carbon C: 0.33 ~ 0.43
Si Si: 0.80 ~ 1.20
Mn Mn: 0.20 ~ 0.50
Sulfur S: ≤0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤0.030
Chromium Cr: 4.75 ~ 5.50
Ni: to allow the residual content ≤0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content ≤0.30
Vanadium V: 0.30 ~ 0.60
Mo Mo: 1.10 ~ 1.60
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: annealing, ≤235HB, indentation diameter ≥3.95mm
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching, 790 ± 15 ℃ preheating, 1000 ± 6 ℃ (bath) or 1010 ± 6 ℃ (oven controlled atmosphere) heating, insulation 5 ~ 15min, air-cooled, 550 ± 6 ℃ tempering.
