● Features and Scope:
Cold work die steel, is the introduction of the United States of D2 steel. Composition, performance and Cr12MoV steel similar to the same purpose, can be used instead.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 1.40 ~ 1.60
Si Si: ≤0.60
Manganese Mn: ≤0.60
Sulfur S: ≤0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤0.030
Chromium Cr: 11.50 ~ 13.00
Ni: to allow the residual content ≤0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content ≤0.30
Vanadium V: ≤1.00
Mo Mo: 0.70 ~ 1.20
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: annealing, ≤255HB, indentation diameter ≥3.8mm; quenching, ≥59HRC
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching, 820 ± 15 ℃ preheating, 1000 ± 6 ℃ (bath) or 1010 ± 6 ℃ (oven controlled atmosphere) heating, insulation 10 ~ 20min, air-cooled, 200 ± 6 ℃ tempering.
● Delivery status: Delivery of steel in the annealed condition.
