● Features and Scope:
Cold work die steel, is the introduction of the United States of A2 steel, quenched steels in Class A space is the most widely used one. Applicable requirements of both toughness and wear-resistant cold work die steel, can replace CrWMn, 9Mn2V steel production, small-scale cold stamping die, die cutting, molding and red top.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 0.95 ~ 1.05
Si Si: ≤0.50
Manganese Mn: ≤1.00
Sulfur S: ≤0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤0.030
Chromium Cr: 4.75 ~ 5.50
Ni: to allow the residual content ≤0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content ≤0.30
Vanadium V: 0.15 ~ 0.50
Mo Mo: 0.90 ~ 1.40
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: annealing, ≤255HB, indentation diameter ≥3.95mm; quenching, ≥60HRC
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching, 790 ± 15 ℃ preheated, 940 ± 6 ℃ (bath) or 950 ± 6 ℃ (oven controlled atmosphere) heating, insulation 5 ~ 15min, air-cooled, 200 ± 6 ℃ tempering. ● Delivery status: Delivery of steel in the annealed condition.
