Is a low carbon high alloyed austenitic stainless steel. The steel is corrosion conditions designed harsh environments. Initially the steel for corrosion resistance in dilute sulfuric acid and the development of this feature through years of practical application has been verified to be very successful. Now 904L has been standardized in many countries and has been used in the manufacture of pressure vessels validation.
