● Features and Scope:
Hot work die steel, is commonly used in die-casting mold steel, high strength and hardness, resistance to thermal fatigue resistance is good, and there is a good hardenability, but its poor toughness and ductility. Suitable for the production of high temperature, high stress, shock load from the punch, die, such as die casting, hot extrusion mold, forging mold, mold and other non-ferrous metals.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 0.30 ~ 0.40
Si Si: ≤0.40
Manganese Mn: ≤0.40
Sulfur S: ≤0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤0.030
Chromium Cr: 2.20 ~ 2.70
Ni: to allow the residual content ≤0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content ≤0.30
Vanadium V: 0.20 ~ 0.50
Tungsten W: 7.50 ~ 9.00
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: annealing, 255 ~ 207HB, indentation diameter 3.8 ~ 4.2mm
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching, 1075 ~ 1125 ℃ oil cooling.
● Delivery status: Delivery of steel in the annealed condition.
