● Features and Scope:
Is the introduction of the United States Air hardened H13 hot work die steel. Properties and uses basically the same with 4Cr5MoSiV steel, is one of the very versatile hot work die steel.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 0.32 ~ 0.45
Si Si: 0.80 ~ 1.20
Mn Mn: 0.20 ~ 0.50
Sulfur S: ≤0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤0.030
Chromium Cr: 4.75 ~ 5.50
Ni: to allow the residual content ≤0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content ≤0.30
Vanadium V: 0.80 ~ 1.20
Mo Mo: 1.10 ~ 1.75
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: annealing, ≤235HB, indentation diameter ≥3.95mm
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching the sample, 790 ± 15 ℃ preheating, 1000 ± 6 ℃ (bath) or 1010 ± 6 ℃ (oven controlled atmosphere) heating, insulation 5 ~ 15min, air-cooled, 550 ± 6 ℃ tempering.
● Delivery status: Delivery of steel in the annealed condition.
